Our Team

CKC Properties, LLC was established in 2012 by Colin Knight Colbert in Charleston, SC. While the firm started as a small renovation company geared toward historic restoration and urban infill project, it has since grown into a full-service real estate development firm focused on commercial and residential developments on the Charleston Peninsula and Upper Neck area. In 2016, Tim Colbert joined the firm and helped to further expand the operation.

CKC Properties offers a full suite of services including development, contracting, management, marketing and brokerage. The company principals have created three subsidiary companies including CKC Hospitality, CKC Construction and CKC Realty to accommodate the multi-faceted approach. The firm currently maintains significant holdings in the downtown Charleston area

  • CKC Hospitality (DBA Charleston Vacay’s) focuses on short-term rental and boutique hotel management. CKC currently manages an exclusive portfolio of vacation rentals that accommodate guests throughout the Charleston area. Our team has achieved "VRBO Super-Host" and "AirBnB Plus" designations in recognition of the quality of the properties and services offered by CKC Hospitality. Guests are treated to the best hospitality that Charleston has to offer in newly constructed accommodations with historical Charleston charm.

  • CKC Construction is licensed as an unlimited commercial contractor and bonded to serve as a general contractor on projects in South Carolina, Georgia or the US Virgin Islands. The firms has developed numerous properties including single family homes, multi-family residential units, and commercial office and restaurant spaces.

  • CKC Realty is real estate brokerage firm that specializes in real estate sales and leasing in the greater Charleston area. In 2024, CKC Realty completed real estate transactions totaling over $18.5MM.

While actively pursuing additional development opportunities in the multi-family and hospitality sector, the firm is focused on growing its management portfolio and contracting portfolio throughout the Charleston area.
